Stations, stations, everywhere....OH BOY!

900,000 billion stations - AKA - do as much as you can in a minute, then move to the next thing -on and on this goes, with nary a pause! Ok, once again, this may possibly be a slight exaggeration - possibly. However, it does pretty much sum up the last two days.

Yesterday, 3 rounds, 1 minute each at:
- Dips
- 1-hand kettlebell swings (16 kg)
- Pushups
- Slamball (16)
- Push press (55)
- Tornado ball
1 minute pause between rounds.
Yes, this one was devised by the sick twisted mind of Cheri.
Dips - yes, they were unassisted, but a tiny bit lame - the first couple I did were ok - not exactly full range of motion - but ok. However, by the end, they could hardly be called a dip - more of a bend then straighten as suddenly "oh crap, can't bend my arms any more than this if I'm gonna have to straighten them back out!" pops into my head.
KB swings, pushups, no problemo!
Slamball, Ok - albeit a bit tiring after pushups,.
Push press - cool
Enter the coordination hell of Tornado ball: I am a complete, putz when it comes to tornado ball. Looks simple enough when someone else does it, but this particular thing is definitely not my forte. I end up trying but that ball is flopping around with nothing close to resembling a smooth motion. It's just not such a pretty thing.

I can't remember my exact score - I believe it was 319 or so....which is definitely better than last time, which was 275 ish.

Fun for the night - kipping practice!! Turns out kipping is actually a strange twist on Frank Sinatra - "Swingin' on a Bar!"

Tonight was a new stations - I can't really say that I approve of this one. It was a whopping 5 rounds. So, maybe there were only 3 stations, but the stations themselves were kind of icky (technical term!)
Thrusters, Power cleans and pull to inverted hang. Must say - this was devised by another demented mind.
I started on the pull to inverted hang - which could have been substituted for knees to elbows or knee ups. Well, thinking back on it, I don't think I did any of the above, I kind of just pulled up into a ball trying to get my feet up as high as they would go, and my head down. So I guess I'll call it a "pull up into a rotating ball" type of thingy-poo. Ah well. I averaged about 9 or 10 of these do-hickeys per round. Thrusters, normally don't bother me too much, but they kind of sucked wind tonight! I think on average I still managed to eek out 7-9 per round. Then we get to the nasty cleans. Still hate them. Yes, I know, "you hate what you can't do" blah blah. We'll see if I ever really do like these bastards - I'm thinkin' not - but you never know - I could be proven wrong.

Light and breezy started this week - so worked the squat angle - 5 reps at 145, 5 at 125. Not sure when it happened but I suddenly have cracklin' knees. Hee hee - now I'm hearing some Neil Diamond in my hea
