Death by burpee - I've said it before, and I'll continue saying it - aptly named workout, and burpees suck. This is the do one the first minute 2 the second and so on...for two rounds.
I made it to round 8 plus 8 the first round, and 8 plus 6 the second round.
Grand total for Burpees - 86, up 25 over last time.
The kicker - doing these with Rich - for every round that you didn't do Burpees and someone was still going - you had to do that many pushups. Rich made it to round 15/14. Which means, if I did my math correctly on top of the 86 freakin' burpees, I did approximately 130 pushups to boot. Oy vay!
This morning was one that I've never done - Pull to Inverted hang - as many as you can in 1 minute for 10 rounds - 2 minute rest in between rounds. It was just me and Cheri R, Cheri didn't know what "pull to inverted hang" was, so I showed her in my weird way. Kind of wall walked up to inverted hang to show her the end position - at that point J saw, and we determined...experiment...this is what I was going to do - at least for a couple rounds. I ended up doing 4 rounds of the weird wall walking 6/7/7/6 , the we switched to pullups/Knee to Elbows alternating.
Pullups - jumping RR - 15/15/18 - total 48
KTE - jumping - 11/12/13
I can't remember exactly......I think the pullups are correct - not sure on the KTE's...I believe my total was around 36.
Overall, it was a fun day - I liked the playing with a new thing aspect. Although, I have an uber-jock wound from it. Formed and broke a blood blister under a callous. So, I now have a hanging bit of flesh on my hand, although if I kind of stick it down, it doesn't look so bad.
